Summer at Stuart offers a variety of day programs featuring academic enrichment, arts, cultural and athletic programs as well as a play camp. Before and after Camp activities are also available. Programs are open to Stuart and non-Stuart students ranging from age 4 through high school, depending on program. Programs are coeducational with the exception of the athletics programs which are open to girls only. Academic enrichment includes courses in creative writing, algebra, SAT review, science, foreign language, and more. Camp Stuart (pre-school – Kindergarten) begins June 15 and runs through July 2. Summer at Stuart camp programs (pre-school – grade 11) begin July 15 and runs through August 28.

SUMMER STUDY (pre-k-12) The Lewis School’s acclaimed research-based Academic Support and Enrichment for students who learn differently help many children avoid a “summer slide,” while keeping others tuned and ahead for the coming school year. Each student is provided four focused weeks of multisensory strategy and structure that promote mastery, confidence and new learning. ADVENTURES IN READING & WRITING Coed Entering 2nd - 4th
This is class for students that require support in both reading and writing skills. Students will go on adventures by exploring different themes each week. This class is a 4-week class with a 2-week minimum to sign up. Students are encouraged to attend all 4 weeks to gain the full benefit of the class. Cambridge's distinguished Summer Study Program (K-12) keeps students academically sharp over the summer. It starts with morning academics: language, reading, writing, and math and offers Afternoon Intensives: HOTS I, Higher Order Thinking for Summer - an intensive program to build critical thinking and inferencing skills. EFforT, Executive Function for Teens, is a program developed for older students who would benefit from strategies aimed at developing high-level thinking skills with a strong emphasis on the development of executive function needed for academics and planning multi-step projects. Executive Function Camp (Grades 2-6) is led by a Speech & Language Pathologist, and targets students who struggle to stay organized and complete school assignments.
Academic Enrichment Programs at The Pennington School are taught by the school’s faculty members and are appropriate for ages 10-15. All camps are open to students at all academic levels, and will take place in the school’s air-conditioned classrooms and labs. Camp fees include lunch daily in the dining hall. Hours are 9 - 3pm. Before-and after-camp care are available at an additional cost. Cost is $425/week for all academic enrichment camps except Robotics($495/2 week session) and Mock Trial ($575/2 week session. Our camps are located in beautiful country settings of wooded areas. Activities are centered around weekly themes. Daily activities will include arts and crafts, mini-sports and games, water play, music and movement, songs and story time, special events like a visit from a traveling zoo and field trips. The camp offers full day/half day options for full or partial week. AGES: 18 months- 6 years HOURS: 8am-6pm (Half day/Full day sessions) June 24 to August 23, 2013BEGINNING LANGUAGE SKILLS CAMP & MASTERING MATH SKILLS CAMP: Individualized instruction in math and reading for 4-7 year olds taught by experienced certified staff from our regular school. The Science of Flight/Firefly Tennis and Swimming - June 18- July 2 Children will fly “high in the sky” with study of aerodynamics and flight. Afternoons will be spent learning basic skills of tennis with Firefly Tennis Program 3x per week.
Gears, Gadgets and Things that Move/Motion Gymnastics and Swimming - July 7-18 Campers will build, experiment, and evaluate scientific principles as they design and build simple machines like race cars, windmills, pulleys, cranes and simple robots built by using wood, LEGO and K’NEX. 3x per week gymnastics basics, taught by Motion Gymnastics, Pennington, NJ.
Detective Quest/Tae Kwon Do and Swimming - July 21-August 1 Learn the art of becoming a detective through fingerprint analysis, developing ciphers and cracking codes. We will also learn the fundamentals of Tae Kwon Do taught by Princeton Martial Arts Center 3x per week. All session includes weekly swimming instruction

CKW Writing Academy's Summer Programs helps students develop a love of reading, writing, and vocabulary. We also have a NEW 6-week children's journalism class called "The Art of New Media and Real News". Reading, Grammar, Vocabulary, and Journalism courses will help your child reach their goals while building confidence along the way. In the Comprehensive Writing Studio young students focus on Emerging Reading, Emerging Writing, Emerging Vocabulary while kids in grades 1-6 concentrate on Vocabulary, grammar & punctuation, writing, reading. International Ivy Summer Enrichment Programs
Summer 2018 June 25 - Aug 17 - The International Ivy Summer Enrichment Program is dedicated to providing fun and intellectually-stimulating experiences to fuel young people's interest and creativity. We design our classes to be creative and hands-on. Kids design video games, build robots, tinker with the engineering of gadgets, conduct experiments and make films. We believe kids learn best by doing. There are over sixty classes to choose from in STEAM – Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts and Math.
International Ivy serves children between the ages 5 and 14. All classes are weekly, Monday to Friday, so students can enroll for one week or multiple weeks. Students can also enroll for half-day or full-day. International Ivy will be held at the Chapin School in Princeton in Summer 2018 July 9 - Aug 10.
Watershed Science & Stewardship Academy

The Watershed Science and Stewardship Academy classes are week-long environmental investigations for high school students designed to invoke a sense of wonder and inquiry of the natural environment in the context of real-world issues. Four exciting offerings are on climate change, green architecture, field science and clean water, using Next Generation Science Standards. Students will explore environmental careers alongside professors and professionals through hands-on activities engaged in real scientific techniques and conservation projects.
SciCore Academy’s Academic Summer Camps run from June to August. Camps are one or two weeks long with teaching hours 9 - 3 pm. Cost is $310 per week. Benefit from the many years experience of SciCore teachers in providing high quality academic summer camps with "hands-on" learning and one-on-one attention, with courses available for grades pre-K to high school. Camps include: Early Readers program, elementary science, electronics & robotics, optics & astronomy, chess, middle school writing and mathematics, high school writing, biotechnology, and 3D printing.
