International Ivy Summer Enrichment Programs

908-899-1338

Summer 2018 June 25 - Aug 17 - The International Ivy Summer Enrichment Program is dedicated to providing fun and intellectually-stimulating experiences to fuel young people's interest and creativity. We design our classes to be creative and hands-on. Kids design video games, build robots, tinker with the engineering of gadgets, conduct experiments and make films. We believe kids learn best by doing. There are over sixty classes to choose from in STEAM – Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts and Math.

International Ivy serves children between the ages 5 and 14. All classes are weekly, Monday to Friday, so students can enroll for one week or multiple weeks. Students can also enroll for half-day or full-day. International Ivy will be held at the Chapin School in Princeton in Summer 2018 July 9 - Aug 10.

Lavner Camps!

We are excited to offer Video Game Programming & Design Camp at Stuart this summer! Using the powerful program Multimedia Fusion 2, campers learn how to create their own video games for use on computers, and create Apps compatible with IOS® devices (the Ipad® and the IPhone®) and the Android ™. Campers are grouped based on age and ability, and are provided with the appropriate level of our curriculum. Starting with a blank screen, campers begin with a single frame where they place objects and scenery, and quickly learn how to program these objects to behave in this environment. Throughout the week, the games and Apps are expanded to multiple frames and levels, resulting in a complete multi-level arcade and/or platform game/App. Multi-level decision-making teaches campers to consider the game as a whole, beyond just a single frame, encouraging both vision and planning. Grades 1-8
