Alzheimer’s Association Memory Walk
The Alzheimer’s Association, Greater New Jersey Chapter is inviting New Jersey residents to join in the fight against Alzheimer’s disease by participating in its Central Regional Memory Walk on Sunday, October 11, at ETS in Princeton. Be one of the thousands of individuals who are walking singly or as part of a team in the annual event that helps support the programs and services the Association offers to the more than 350,000 New Jersey individuals and families affected by Alzheimer’s disease. Featured at the Walk for the first time is Memory Walk Champion 103.5 WKTU New York’s morning radio personality Cubby Bryant. The three-mile, non-competitive Walk includes entertainment, refreshments and prizes. Registration begins at 9 a.m., and the Walk kicks off at 10 a.m.
“Nationwide, Memory Walk is our largest annual community fundraising event. Statewide, one of the largest Walks takes place right here in Princeton; we are expecting over 1,000 walkers this year! We invite area residents of all ages to come out and walk – their participation really makes a difference,” said Jeri Bogan Zielinski, chair of the Central Regional Walk and director of real estate services at ETS in Princeton. “The proceeds raised help benefit New Jersey individuals and their families affected by Alzheimer’s disease.”
