The Hopewell Valley Education Foundation is a not-for-profit organization serving the needs of the public schools that make up the Hopewell Valley Regional School District. Our mission is to enhance the educational experience in Hopewell Valley schools through the identification and development of community partnerships and resources.

Hopewell Valley Historical Society

The Hopewell Valley Historical Society was formed in 1975. Its purposes include: collecting and preserving artifacts, records and other materials relating to the valley's long and colorful history, and making them accessible to members and the public for educational purposes; encouraging the preservation of historic sites throughout the area; and sponsoring research projects and public programs that increase knowledge about our heritage. Membership in the Hopewell Valley Historical Society is open to all who share an interest in the history of Hopewell Township and the Boroughs of Hopewell and Pennington. The Society maintains its collections at the Mercer County Library - Hopewell Township Branch, and holds its programs at various locations in the area.

The Hopewell Valley YMCA is proud to serve Hopewell, Pennington, Titusville, and some sections of Ewing in New Jersey. We are a "Y without walls" meaning we operated in many different rented locations through out the area. Our main administrative offices are located at 62 South Main Street in Pennington, NJ. Our administrative staff is based here, and we accept program registrations at this location. We are a charitable organization dedicated to building a healthy spirit, mind, and body through programs which promote good health, strong families, youth leadership, and community development.

The 860-acre Watershed Reserve in Hopewell NJ offers outdoor experiences for the entire family. Visitors can enjoy the animals and exhibits of the Buttinger Nature Center, the butterflies and garden habitats of the Kate Gorrie Butterfly House (in season), and more more than 10 miles of hiking trails. The Reserve is owned and managed by The Watershed Institute - central New Jersey's first environmental group. The Watershed Institute protects clean water and the environment throughout the 265-square-mile region of central New Jersey drained by the Stony Brook and Millstone River.
