Hopewell Valley Historical Society at the Hopewell Presbyterian Church - 80 W Broad St, Hopewell
Dr. Lindsey Swindall will explore the sometimes-overlooked issues of how the American Revolution impacted people of African descent and how they participated in the Revolutionary movement. Individual contributions will also be examined with special attention to African Americans in New Jersey.
