The Community Well is a community center based at The Presbyterian Church of Lawrenceville, 2688 Main Street (Rte. 206) in the village of Lawrenceville. The center's mission is to develop community and to promote wellness of mind, body and spirit - and a sense of purpose. Accordingly, the Community Well provides educational and participatory programs/events/activities and serves as the home for an array of support groups. The Well also provides information regarding opportunities for service in the community and includes a counseling program, called The New Directions Center. All programs/groups are available to everyone in the community. Programs are offered in partnership with a variety of organizations and serve children and families, adults and Seniors. Activities include everything from musical offerings, fitness/recreation, art, mental health, cooking, healthy eating, adult and kids education programs and more.
Heart to Hearts, Inc. is a nonprofit women’s wellness organization whose mission is to educate women and their families about important issues that affect their health and well-being. We believe that education is the key to empowering women to make positive changes in their lives that will result in healthy lifestyles for them and their families. We offer programs, classes and seminars that support this mission while promoting a “Circle of Health” concept for each individual. Mercer Council on Alcoholism & Drug Addiction
MCADA is a private, non-profit agency dedicated to strengthening the foundations of children and families by empowering them to successfully handle difficult, everyday life situations and the impact of substance abuse. MCADA actively provides quality alcohol, tobacco and other drug abuse prevention and early intervention services in partnership with individuals, families, schools, communities, businesses and professionals throughout Mercer County.
