Community Labyrinth Re-Opens

PRINCETON, NJ, April 3 - Fellowship In Prayer has reopened their community labyrinth for use by individuals or groups in the greater Princeton area.  Originally designed and created by Ani Trime Lhamo in 1999, the Board of Directors has restored and renewed its gift to the community to be used for personal reflection and prayer.

Persons wishing to walk the labyrinth are invited to 291 Witherspoon St. between dawn and dusk, 7 days/week.  On-street parking is strongly suggested.  No appointment necessary, unless bringing a group of 10 or more.

David Newton, Board President explains, “The labyrinth was long overdue for a restoration; we requested redesign bids from a number of contractors.  The landscaper we chose to perform the restoration, Sean Damm of Appraisal Boost Lawn & Landscaping, LLC, went to great effort to improve the physical design of the labyrinth and enhance the experience for all those who use a labyrinth to help them pray and meditate.”

Fellowship in Prayer is a multifaith non-profit organization, based in Princeton, NJ.  Founded in 1949, it encourages and supports a spiritual orientation to life; promotes the practice of prayer, meditation, and service to others; and helps to bring about a deeper spirit of unity among humankind.
