Snow White, Princeton Ballet School

Experience the timeless fairy tale of Snow White as she runs away from the evil queen and finds solace with seven friendly dwarfs. Watch as the witch convinces her to bite the poisoned apple and witness the magic of true love’s kiss. This enchanting one-hour ballet, choreographed by Samantha Dunster, American Repertory Ballet’s Interim Artistic Director, and set to an original score by Kermit Poling, is a captivating experience for audiences of all ages. Don’t miss this spellbinding performance that celebrates love, courage, and the triumph of good over evil. The performances will also feature Paquita and a pas de deux from La Fille Mal Gardée. Princeton Ballet School is the official school of American Repertory Ballet, a founding resident company of NBPAC. Over 200 students from ages 6 to 26 will take the stage in this culminating and dazzling year-end performance!

Spring Winery Weekend Music Series @Terhune's

Join family and friends for our winery weekend music series this Spring. It is the perfect way to relax, connect, and toast the new season. Enjoy a glass of one of our award-winning wines, sit back, and listen to live music from local artists each week. Styles range from Jazz and Blues to Folk and Rock. The music is from 1 pm-4 pm. Light fare is available.

Bring the entire family to enjoy fresh air on the farm, stop in the farm store for fresh produce, baked goods, and local gourmet items, and stroll on the farm. Barn Door Cafe is open on weekends for lunch fare, homemade treats, and ice cream. Winery hours 12 pm-5 pm. No outside food or pets, please. "Growing Up True": A Local History Read-Aloud, Princeton Public Library

Patty True Payne reads “Growing Up True,” a children’s book inspired by her childhood in New Jersey’s Sourland Mountain region that celebrates Black farming history and resilience. Families are invited to join Ms. Payne, a board member of the Stoutsburg Sourland African American Museum, for an engaging, interactive reading of the story based on her childhood. Ms. Payne grew up on Sourland Mountain, in what is now the Reasoner True House, on the campus of the Stoutsburg Sourland African American Museum. The book, by Ryan Jillian Kilpatrick, celebrates Black farming history and resilience, focusing on themes of home and heritage. Attend this program and learn more about the work of SSAAM to preserve local African American history.

Disney's Frozen: The Broadway Musical

ShowKids Invitational Theatre (SKIT) is thrilled to bring the enchanting world of Arendelle to life with their upcoming production of Disney's Frozen: The Broadway Musical. Featuring a double cast of talented young performers, the production will take the stage at Voorhees High School in Lebanon Township for two weekends, May 2–10, 2026.

Based on the 2013 Academy Award-winning animated film, the Broadway musical expands upon the emotional relationship between sisters Elsa and Anna. When Elsa's hidden powers are accidentally revealed, plunging the kingdom into an eternal winter, Anna sets out on a journey to save her sister and their home. The show features beloved songs from the film alongside new music written specifically for the stage.

"These Are Our Stories": Confronting Racial Stereotypes with Family Photographs

The Trent House Association presents a talk by Professor Mary Shelley Trent on family photograph albums of 19th-century African American women. This talk will be held via Zoom on Saturday, May 9, 2026, at 2 pm. More information and the registration link HERE.

Family photograph albums are often overlooked in studies of national and cultural history, often deemed inconsequential. However, these objects have been important tools for asserting identity and preserving family history. ?For 19th century African American women living in an era of racial oppression and derogatory popular imagery, controlling their and their family's representation was important. In this presentation, Professor Mary Shelley Trent will show images and discuss stories from two nineteenth-century photographic albums created by African American women: Ellen Craft and Arabella Chapman. Craft, who famously escaped enslavement, and Chapman, born free, used their albums to challenge stereotypes and document their families' respectability and stability. Passed down through female descendants who added their own annotations, these albums became living documents of intergenerational memory.

In parallel storylines that blend past and present, Mrs. Christie proves that sometimes you need to disappear in order to find yourself.

Gallery Opening: Color as Composition by Phoebe Wiley

Since childhood, the observation of color in nature has captivated the Wiley's senses, compelling her to contemplate and recreate it. This intensity of feeling has led to a long and dedicated life as a painter. For many years, she worked as an Impressionist, observing the play of light and color in still lifes and landscapes and analyzing how gestural marks of color could be used to describe objects within the picture. More recently, Wiley has learned to let go of figuration entirely, choosing instead to concentrate on color itself as the foundation for composition. Learn more.

Building Princeton: America250 Edition

Visualize the town and campus as you’ve never seen them before! Working from photographs, teams recreate iconic Princeton structures out of LEGO building blocks. Choose among more than 50 historic structures, famous residences, community buildings, and houses of worship to construct a scale model. Additional 18th century buildings have been added for the Semiquincentennial. When complete, models are placed on a 30-foot map of Princeton, providing an amazing aerial view.
