At McCarter’s Summer Camp, campers embark on an unforgettable journey of creating and performing an original play from scratch! Guided by experienced teaching artists, they’ll collaborate to develop stories, characters, and dialogue, bringing their ideas to life for an exciting final performance.

Each week features a brand-new theme to spark creativity and fuel the collaborative process. Campers will interpret the theme, explore storytelling, and work together to craft a one-of-a-kind theatrical experience. From brainstorming to rehearsing, they’ll discover the thrill of teamwork, imagination, and performance!

REX ARTS Musical Theater Camps are designed for kids who love to perform, and for kids who would like to try it out. Acting, singing, and dance lessons will be enhanced by fun theatre games and activities. Our teaching artists are musical theatre majors, recent college graduates, professional actors, and school teachers who love to pass along their passion for the performing arts. On the last day of camp, parents and friends will be thrilled by a final performance of a medley from a popular Broadway show.
