Benefit Concerts Ring Out
“We Believe” as the Holiday Season Begins
For many, a pivotal part of the Christmas season is participating in the meaningful and entertaining benefit concerts by the Community Christian Choir. Performing for over 15 years, the CCC, both Adult and Children’s division, have delighted their audiences with music that spreads the meaning and pure joy of the season. This season is no different. Celebrating “We Believe In God’s Gift”, the CCC will start their concert season on Sunday, November 28 (6 pm) at the Robbinsville Seventh Day Adventist Church, 2314 St. Hwy. 33, Robbinsville. Other concerts include Sunday, December 5 (4 pm) at America’s Keswick Theater, 601 Pinewald Keswick Road, Whiting and Friday, Dec. 10 (7:30 pm) at St. Gregory the Great Roman Catholic Church, 4620 Nottingham Way, Hamilton.
“We have reached back into our own past to bring forward music that thrilled not only our audiences but touched our singers as well,” said Pat Weitz, director and founder of the CCC. “’We Believe’ is our message every season but especially during this holiday season. We hope our hearts are visible in our message and that this message touches our audiences as well.”
Supporting local charities of Central Jersey is also part of the mission of the CCC. Each and every concert is a free concert with a “free will offering” made for a local charity. Every dime is donated to that charity with over $135,000 being donated since 1995. Charities such as HomeFront, Meals on Wheels, The Colony Addiction Recovery Program, Families In Transition, Mt. Carmel Guild and others have been helped by the CCC benefit concerts.
