Foundation Academy (FA) opened in 2007 as a middle school with 87 students. We now educate more than 1,200 students K-12 as a free public charter school. School performance ranks in the top 15% among NJ public schools and FA scholars rank in the top 1% in NJ for academic growth. FA enrolls Mercer County students by lottery. Our Mission is to equip scholars to excel in learning, and empower them to lead purpose-filled lives. We use data to identify and meet each scholar's needs. Scholars see themselves in our diverse faculty, leadership, and staff, who encourage them to pursue their passions in STEM, the arts, AI and sports. We communicate in English and Spanish so all families are informed and engaged. Tutoring and small group instruction help scholars to achieve their academic goals. Our college acceptance rate is 100%. Our workforce development programs empower scholars to create their own paths.
