Live History Weekend at Morven

Morven Museum & Garden presents "In Time," an interactive mystery theatre experience with Live History USA. Visitors travel through the historic mansion solving a mystery with help from characters from Morven's past.

Dates/Times: Saturday and Sunday, April 11–12, 10 am–4 pm (approximately 45 minutes)

With instructor and artist Kenneth J. Lewis.Sr. whose abstract art is featured in the Malloy Gallery through May 24 as part of African American Abstractions. 1

Creative Kiddos Light the Way, Grounds for Sculpture

In this workshop, Kiddos will become inspired by a reading of The Patchwork Bike by Maxine Beneba Clarke and then transform recycled plastic bottles into beautiful, colorful hanging lanterns that will brighten up any room. This eco-friendly activity encourages early learners to use their imagination to transform ordinary everyday materials into extraordinary pieces of art. Each child will leave with a lantern to hang at home. All Creative Kiddos workshops are designed for kids ages 6 to 8 working alongside their adult caregivers.
