ite Day is a perfect time to explore the farm during our spring festival - Saturday, May 2 & Sunday, May 3 - 10:00 am – 5:00 pm. Spring on the farm is one of the most beautiful and exciting seasons. All is ready for the bountiful growing season. Bring your own kite or choose a ready-made kite from the wide selection in the store. Or better yet, make a “guaranteed to fly” kite. Whichever you choose, test fly your kite in our wide-open 10-acre pasture with all the farm animals looking on. The farm will ring with country music and entertainment all weekend. The sheep will be shorn on Sunday and the children can take home a piece of real fleece. On Sunday Princeton Morris Dancers will perform traditional May Day dances. Enjoy live music 1-4 pm each day.

A celebration of spring, the new born calves, kids and lambs, and the return of fresh dairy. First Milk Fest will showcase the exceptional quality and wide diversity of New Jersey artisan cheeses and dairy products. Members of the recently formed NJ Dairy and Cheese Guild will be selling and offering samples of their milk products from cows, goats, sheep and buffalo. Cheeses - aged and fresh, milk shakes, ice-cream, yogurt, butter, ghee, mac & cheese, cheesecakes, cafe lattes, matcha lattes and all sorts of other goodies will be here for the tasting. There will also be local artisanal vendors of bread, chutneys, jams, fruit, veggies, chocolate, cider, wine and other cheese and dairy accompaniments. We'll have flowers and plants for sale, artists and crafters with their spring wares, face painting and fun for kids and possibly glass blowing and blacksmithing. There will be hayrides, music and a kirtan and blessing for the calves and cows and maybe a maypole and morris dancers.
