4th Annual Warrior Walk, YWCA Princeton's Breast Cancer Resource Center

Join YWCA Princeton's Breast Cancer Resource Center (BCRC) on Sunday, September 21 at 10:00 AM at Princeton University's Weaver Track and Field Stadium (45 Ivy Ln, Princeton, NJ) for their 4th Annual Warrior Walk, honoring breast cancer survivors and thrivers. Open to all, the event features a 100-Yard Kid's Dash (ages 5+) on a fully wheelchair-accessible paved track. Proceeds from this event go to support the BCRC's mission to help women and their families live with, through, and beyond breast cancer. Can't join in person? Register to walk virtually! Want some company? Form a corporate or social team. Prizes will be awarded to the top three individual fundraisers and the top fundraising team.

Fall Family Fun Weekends, Terhune's

Celebrate the season at Terhune Orchards with a day full of family fun on the farm! Each weekend offers more than 30 festive activities and attractions for all ages.

Come early for free Wagon Rides (10am-1pm) and stay for toe-tapping Live Music (12-4pm). Apple Fresh: Pam’s Food Pavilion is filled with country fare, famous cider donuts, fresh apple cider, pie and so much more. Wine Orchard: In our 100 year historic apple orchard, enjoy a tasting flight or a glass of red, white, or fruit-based estate wines made from our own grapes and fruit.. Winery: For weekend entry, admission tickets must be purchased. Tickets are required for adults and children ages 3 years and up. Entry is free for children under 3.

Turning the Tide on Plastic Waste: An Afternoon of Storytelling, Community and Impact at the Johnson Education Center

D&R Greenway Land Trust is joining with Classroom of Hope to present an afternoon of storytelling on the power of environmental stewardship at the Johnson Education Center, One Preservation Place, Princeton, NJ from 4:00 – 5:30 p.m. on Sunday, September 21. Samples of Indonesian cuisine will be shared as participants learn about an impactful program that turns recycled plastic into building blocks for schools in Indonesia. Tanya Armstrong, visiting CEO from Classroom of Hope, is here for Climate Week NYC. A donation of $15 is requested, $25 for a family. Register by September 15 to drgreenway.org.
