Our family-friendly dance features square dances, contra dances, play party games, other traditional American dances, and sometimes folk dances from around the world; it’s great fun for the whole family, from young children (ages 4 and up) to adults. The dances will be led by our local callers; live music will be provided by the Mixed Age Dance Band. Musicians of all ages and abilities are welcome to join the MAD Band - there is a rehearsal immediately before each family dance. No partner or experience is needed. Admission: $10 per person, or $25 per family of 3 or more. For those with limited income: $5-$10 per person and $15-$25 per family.

D&R Greenway Land Trust is joining with Classroom of Hope to present an afternoon of storytelling on the power of environmental stewardship at the Johnson Education Center, One Preservation Place, Princeton, NJ from 4:00 – 5:30 p.m. on Sunday, September 21. Samples of Indonesian cuisine will be shared as participants learn about an impactful program that turns recycled plastic into building blocks for schools in Indonesia. Tanya Armstrong, visiting CEO from Classroom of Hope, is here for Climate Week NYC. A donation of $15 is requested, $25 for a family. Register by September 15 to drgreenway.org.
