Cooks + Books: “Cloudy with a Chance of Meatballs”, Princeton Public Library

A reading from "Cloudy with a Chance of Meatballs" followed by a fun cooking class featuring recipes related to the book. For kids in kindergarten through second grades. Registration required. In Cooks + Books sessions, young chefs will explore new flavors, try out simple cooking skills and create globally inspired, nut-free, allergy-friendly dishes while learning about nutrition, kitchen safety, math and world cultures.

Princeton Student Film Festival, Princeton Public Library

Teens and adults are invited to view screenings of original short films by filmmakers ages 14-25. Filmmakers who attend will participate in post-screening Q&A sessions.

Evening Yoga in the Gardens with Gratitude Yoga, Morven Museum & Garden

Take your practice outside with Gratitude Yoga. We are excited to offer this weekly donation-based outdoor yoga class in Morven’s beautiful gardens, located in the heart of Princeton. Our all-levels Vinyasa class is open to everyone.

Classes offered on Wednesday evenings (July 8 to September 9) from 6:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. Please note: there will be no practice on Wednesday, August 26. In the event of rain, we will move inside Morven’s Education Center - a lovely, peaceful space for an uplifting yoga practice. Please bring a yoga mat, a towel, a water bottle, and an open heart.

Jersey Art Meetup, Arts Council of Princeton

Princeton Comic Makers presents: JERSEY ART MEETUPS (JAM), a weekly social event connecting creatives within the greater Central Jersey area through a shared passion for sequential art and new media. Attendees may use this open workshop space to draw, write, and develop their own artwork, with an opportunity to receive peer review and feedback from other members if desired. Illustrators, animators, writers, and generalists are all welcome to join and discuss their art and career goals, share learning resources, promote current projects, or find friends and collaborators. Together, we aspire to cultivate a local community that keeps artists motivated towards achieving their dreams!
