Concert, Princeton Summer Chamber Concerts

Thursday July 9, 2026
7:30 PM

ARCOSTRUM (violin and guitar duo)

The ArcoStrum Experience merges Eastern and Western cultures. ArcoStrum seamlessly combines the evocative sound of traditional Chinese instruments like the erhu (Chinese two-string fiddle) and dizi (Chinese bamboo flute) with the virtuosity of classical violin, guitar and electric guitar/bass. With the energy of modern popular music, (with pieces by Vivaldi, Huang, Bill Withers, John Williams and “Michael Jackson meets Scarlatti”), its innovative program offers an immersive experience that promises to transcend boundaries and celebrate the evolution of music across cultures and generations.

Tickets are free, available online one week before the concert through the university ticket office at: tickets.princeton.edu
