PRINCETON, NJ – February 6, 2026 – Princeton Federal Credit Union (PFCU), a 50+ year cooperative financial institution, announced that applications are now open for its annual college scholarship program. The legacy initiative recognizes high-achieving high school seniors who are current credit union members or who become new members before applying.
"Helping our young members thrive is a meaningful part of our mission — and we're grateful to be a small part of their journey," said Megan Peterson, PFCU Marketing Specialist. "We continue to be impressed by the caliber of students who apply each year, and the personal essays we receive are truly awe-inspiring."
This year, three $1,000 scholarships will be awarded and paid jointly to the students and their chosen accredited educational institutions. Applicants must be high school seniors in the class of 2026 and PFCU members. To be eligible for the scholarship award, non-members who are high school seniors can join Princeton Federal Credit Union immediately, online at princetonfcu.org or in person at the branch located at 774 Alexander Road in Princeton, New Jersey, at no charge.
Scholarship funds must be used for tuition at an accredited educational institution (community college, 4-year college, or university) for the 2026/2027 academic year.
Applications must be submitted no later than April 18, 2026. Complete application information and requirements are available online at princetonfcu.org
