Birds of Prey! Exhibit - Tulpehaking Nature Center

The nonprofit Friends for the Abbott Marshlands (FFAM) art exhibit, Birds of Prey! is on display through March 21, 2026 at the Tulpehaking Nature Center, 157 Westcott Ave., Hamilton, New Jersey, at the main entrance to the Abbott Marshlands – Roebling Park.
Seventeen artists answered the Call for Art, submitting original works of eagle, harrier, hawk, osprey, owl and vulture. They are: Hana Aviv, New Brunswick; Laura Beard, Ewing; Clara Sue Beym, Bayville; Ling Chiu, West Windsor; Tammy Dawkins, Hightstown; Jack Hobe, Yardley; Dawn Lee Lum, Princeton Junction; Linda McClellan, Mercerville; Lori Parsells, New Egypt; William Plank, Lawrenceville; Andrea Rubinstein, Princeton Junction, Rupa Sanbui, West Windsor; Margaret Simpson, Hamilton; Jennifer "Jenni Bee" Siniscalchi, Lawrence; Aurelle Purdy Sprout, Lambertville; and Jennifer Staffee and Zina Umyn, both from Bordentown. See this exhilarating exhibit of local talent. Thirty percent of art sold goes to the Friends for the Abbott Marshlands to further the nonprofit's goals and educational programming. The proximity of the Abbott Farm Historic District as an oasis amidst close urban neighbors of Bordentown, Hamilton and Trenton makes the natural and cultural wealth of the marshlands all the more surprising, precious and worthy of preservation. The Tulpehaking Nature Center – part of Mercer County Park system -- is open Wednesdays to Saturdays, 10am 4pm, and Sundays 1-4pm. Parking is available at the historic 1708 Isaac Watson House in the drive entrance. Purchase of original artworks can be made at the nature center's reception desk, or by calling (609) 888-3218.
