Terhune Orchards is a 250-acre, family-owned farm just outside of Princeton. The Mount family has owned and operated it since 1975. Terhune Orchards is noted for its fresh, wholesome fruits, vegetables, and flowers, growing 35 varieties of apples and over 60 different vegetable crops, Certified Organic and conventional. The farm store is stocked with homemade cookies, fruit breads, apple crisps, apple cider donuts and fresh squeezed apple cider. The Watershed Institute, founded in 1949, is central New Jersey's first environmental organization, dedicated to keeping water clean, safe, and healthy. From our 950-acre Watershed Reserve in Hopewell Township, we lead a comprehensive effort to protect and restore the natural environment through a blend of conservation, advocacy, science, and education. At the heart of our Reserve is the award-winning Watershed Center - a LEED-Platinum facility that serves as a hub for innovation, learning, and community engagement. Visitors can also explore our popular Kate Gorie Butterfly House, Wargo Pond, Tree Frog Trail, and over 10 miles of trails. The Center is free to visit and open on weekdays from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. and weekends from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.

Cherry Grove Farm is a family-owned dairy farm and creamery situated on nearly 500 acres of preserved farmland. We practice regenerative farming to craft artisanal cheeses, raise grass-fed beef and whey-fed pork, and harvest heritage eggs. Everything is on site, from raising and milking the cows to making and aging our cheese. People love our Buttercup Brie and cave-aged Havilah, which you can buy at our Farm Store along with our meats and other foods and gifts. Come take a class in cheese making, foraging, bread making, beekeeping or other homesteading related workshop. We give hay rides, farm tours, wild plant walks, and a variety of seasonal events.
