Performance: Trio Metaphora with Enriqueta Carrington - Poetry & Music: Spanish & Latin American Songs and Dances

Trio Metaphora performs arrangements of dance music from Spain and Latin America arranged for wind trio and paired with readings from Carrington's translations of sonnets by Pablo Neruda. Trio Metaphora performs music from many sources and styles: instrumental trios by Mozart, Beethoven, Schubert and other classical composers; opera arias and songs by Mozart, Verdi, Puccini and others; tangos and dance music from Vienna, Spain and Latin America; and American, Russian, Spanish and Mexican folk songs.

Luce Quintet Chamber Music Group, West Windsor Branch

Luce Quintet is a chamber music group consisting of two violins, a viola, a cello, and a double bass. Current students at Montgomery High School, Luce Quintet's mission is to cultivate joy and community through music by providing free, diverse performances to all age groups. They will be performing soundtracks from popular movies including Interstellar, The Godfather, and James Bond.

It's 1979, and New York's hottest A-listers are at the opening of a floating casino and disco, but what begins as a night of boogie fever quickly changes to panic as the ship succumbs to an earthquake, tidal wave, and inferno. This hilarious jukebox musical features some of the most unforgettable songs of the disco era. including "Knock on Wood," "Hooked on a Feeling," "Sky High," "I Am Woman," and "Hot Stuff."

La Fiocco period instrument ensemble welcomes back special guest artist soprano Laura Heimes as we pay tribute to legendary heroes and lovers in history and in myth. In this performance, we honor Cleopatra, Hercules, Don Quixote, Arion, and Cloris-Flora in musical celebration. Overtures, arias, and cantatas by George Frideric Handel, André Campra, Georg Phillip Telemann, Marc Antoine Charpentier, and Nicola Porpora.

Sondra Radvanovsky, The Princeton Festival

World-renowned bel canto soprano Sondra Radvanovsky performs popular opera arias and duets accompanied by the Princeton Symphony Orchestra. The diva has invited tenor Victor Starsky, who sang the role of Cavaradossi in last year’s Festival performance of Puccini’s Tosca, to join her for this very special gala performance conducted by Maestro Rossen Milanov.
