Musical Tribute to Gary Mount, Terhune Orchards

Join us for a special day on the farm as musicians come together in memory of owner Gary Mount. From the early days, Gary booked the bands for Terhune Orchards farm festivals. Once Terhune Orchards Vineyard and Winery was established and the Weekend Music established, Pam and Gary could be found every weekend enjoying the live music in our “romance orchard”. Terhune Orchards has long been a supporter of local musicians and they are coming together on this day to honor Gary and his love for music. Join us for this free event.

Join family and friends for our winery weekend music series this Spring. It is the perfect way to relax, connect, and toast the new season. Enjoy a glass of one of our award-winning wines, sit back, and listen to live music from local artists each week. Styles range from Jazz and Blues to Folk and Rock. The music is from 1 pm-4 pm. Light fare is available.

Bring the entire family to enjoy fresh air on the farm, stop in the farm store for fresh produce, baked goods, and local gourmet items, and stroll on the farm. Barn Door Cafe is open on weekends for lunch fare, homemade treats, and ice cream. Winery hours 12 pm-5 pm. No outside food or pets, please. Art Openings, The Hunterdon Art Museum

The exhibitions include "Mindscapes," celebrating more than sixty years of artistic vision by Bascha Mon (May 17 – September 6, 2026); "Claybash," the museum's second triennial juried ceramics exhibition exploring the possibilities of clay as both material and idea (May 17 – July 5, 2026); and a solo exhibition featuring figurative painter Emily Strong (May 17 – July 5, 2026).

All-Ages Folk Dance at The Farminary

Our family-friendly dance features square dances, contra dances, play party games, other traditional American dances, and sometimes folk dances from around the world; it’s great fun for the whole family, from young children (ages 4 and up) to adults. No partner or experience is needed. The dances will be led by our local callers; live music will be provided by the Mixed Age Dance Band. Musicians of all ages and abilities are welcome to join the MAD Band - there is a rehearsal immediately before each family dance. Join us for a potluck dinner after the dance! Admission: $10 per person, or $25 per family of 3 or more. For those with limited income: $5-$10 per person and $15-$25 per family

Lecture: Christian Reflections on the American Revolution, Nassau Presbyterian Church

University of Notre Dame professor emeritus Mark Noll presents the first of a five-lecture series hosted by Nassau Presbyterian Church to mark the nation's 250th anniversary.

During the American Revolution, King George III called the drive for independence “the Presbyterian Rebellion,” and loyalists blamed “the damned Presbyterians” for starting it. Nassau Presbyterian, as First Presbyterian Church, was home to two signers of the Declaration of Independence—Witherspoon and Richard Stockton—five members of the Continental Congress, including Jonathan Dickinson Sergeant, who wrote New Jersey’s new 1776 State Constitution in church pewholder Robert Stockton’s house, and provided most of its male members to the war effort as state leaders or soldiers. It had just one Tory in its congregation.

Nassau Presbyterian Church will host the five-lecture Samuel Adams Herr Semiquincentennial Series to mark the 250th anniversary of the nation’s birth and the unique role Presbyterians played in moving New Jersey from indifference to independence.

With the nation’s 250th anniversary on the horizon, this program weaves together works that capture the heart and soul of America through music.
