Trenton Walks! Mill Hill
The next walk will take place this Thursday, September 18 at lunchtime. It will focus on the Mill Hill neighborhood in its early development in the 19th Century as well as its rediscovery in the 20th Century. Jean Bickal, a long-time resident of the neighborhood who is active with the Old Mill Hill Society, designed and will lead the walk. Participants will meet at noon at the South Broad Street Bridge over the Assunpink Creek, which is approximately at 142 S. Broad Street (where Assunpink Drive intersects with S. Broad Street, just south of the intersection of E. Lafayette and S. Broad Streets). They will stroll through Mill Hill Park and Montgomery Plaza, as well as the beautiful historic homes on Mercer and Jackson Streets. They will return to the South Broad Street Bridge around 1 p.m.
