YWCA Princeton is delighted to announce our new and exciting summer programs for children ages 4-8. Under the revamped title Empower U, these dynamic programs are designed to foster creativity, curiosity, and collaboration, empowering children to explore new interests and develop valuable skills. In addition to our new programs, YWCA Princeton is excited to expand our summer offerings to new locations, making it easier for families to participate in these enriching educational experiences. Our new sites ensure that more students can take part in these transformative programs. This summer, students will have the opportunity to engage in hands-on learning through three unique programs:
Take a Bow: Summer Artist's Lab
Students will collaborate to create and perform their own theater productions inspired by themes like Folk Tales, Musicals, Superheroes, and Fairytales, culminating in a recorded presentation for family and friends.
STEMtastic Summer
Young innovators will explore game design, engineering, and robotics through hands-on projects, building practical STEM skills in a supportive environment that encourages curiosity and creativity.
Cultural Kaleidoscope (6-8 year olds only)
Students will explore a different country each week, discovering its food, folklore, and culture, while learning to embrace diversity and understand how cultures contribute to our shared community.
??
Sunny Days (3-5 year olds only)
Sunny Days is a program that fosters creativity, skill development, and exploration in children through arts and crafts, outdoor games, and nature activities in a safe, fun environment.
"We're excited to launch EmpowerU, a range of interactive and enriching summer program that fosters creativity, curiosity, and growth" said YWCA Princeton CEO Rose Wong. "By expanding access at three locations, we're furthering our mission to support the whole child—ensuring every student has the opportunity to learn, explore, and thrive in a nurturing environment."
