WASHINGTON CROSSING, Pa. – Children will learn that history is fun through a week-long day camp being offered this summer by Washington Crossing Historic Park (PA). During “Colonial Days Camp,” children will be unplugged from their electronic devices while they experience life in colonial America.
The camp will be held August 21 to 25 from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. each day for children in grades 1st through 5th. Participants will learn about and participate in activities such as colonial cooking, candle dipping, gardening, craft making, 18th century games and more.
Cost is $200 per child or $360 for two. Before- and after-care will be offered from 8 a.m. to 9 a.m. and 4 p.m. to 5 p.m. for an additional $50 per child.
