Center for Modern Aging Princeton (CMAP) Receives 2025 Community Impact Grant Award

Princeton, NJ - The Center for Modern Aging Princeton (CMAP), formerly the Princeton Senior Resource Center, is honored to receive a $45,500 grant from the Princeton Area Community Foundation’s 2025 Community Impact Grants Fund, made possible through partnerships with The Burke Foundation and Johnson & Johnson.

This funding will strengthen CMAP’s ability to serve the growing population of older adults across the greater Princeton region through education, wellness, and social connection. The award underscores CMAP’s leadership in advancing an inclusive, age-friendly community and its ongoing mission to help older adults thrive through connection, purpose, and lifelong learning.

“We are deeply grateful to the Princeton Area Community Foundation, The Burke Foundation, and Johnson & Johnson for their continued investment in the well-being of older adults,” said Drew Dyson, Chief Executive Officer of CMAP. “This generous grant will allow us to expand our outreach, increase accessibility to programs, and enhance the support systems that help aging adults remain active, engaged, and connected.”

The Community Impact Grant will directly support CMAP’s ongoing initiatives to:

  • Strengthen community partnerships and outreach to underserved populations.
  • Expand access to programs addressing health, technology, and social isolation.
  • Advance educational offerings at the Nancy S. Klath Center for Lifelong Learning and online platforms.

The Community Foundation’s Community Impact Grants aim to make a meaningful difference for residents in the region. The organization seeks to partner with nonprofits working to impact the lives of children, individuals and families living in poverty in the region.

“This recognition reflects the power of collaboration and community philanthropy,” added Dyson. “Together, we’re building a future where older adults can age with dignity, joy, and purpose.”
