Princeton Public Schools Named Top District in New Jersey

Princeton Public Schools is proud to once again be recognized by Niche as the #1 public school district in New Jersey. We appreciate that this ranking from Niche incorporates a range of data that goes beyond the standard measurements of success, such as test scores and college placements, and includes as well the diversity among our student body, the clubs and activities available to our students, and the health and safety of our school communities.

We are proud to be recognized for the excellence that we see daily in our schools, from our nationally renowned music department to our Dual Language Immersion program to our award - winning athletic teams, and we celebrate our staff who are dedicated to making our schools places of innovation and care.

While many of the metrics that Niche and other ranking organizations use to measure success are important, we are working as a district to redefine success to include the level of engagement among our studen ts, the equity in our classrooms and curriculum, and how well we are fulfilling our mission to prepare all of our students to lead lives of joy and purpose. At the end of the day, a ranking is a meaningful recognition of our work, but the measurement we value most is seen in the lives of our students and the varied contribution s they are making to our world.
