Walk in Washington’s Footsteps: Fall Lantern Tours

Step back in time and relive the suspense of December 1776. Our Fall Lantern Tours return this season, offering visitors a rare chance to experience Washington Crossing Historic Park after dark. Guided by lantern light, you’ll follow the path of General Washington and his Continental Army on the very night that shaped America’s fight for independence.

These one-hour tours include stops at the soldier encampment, boat barn, and battle map, where costumed interpreters bring to life the courage, struggles, and determination of the men who braved the icy Delaware River. Perfect for history enthusiasts, families, or anyone looking for a unique autumn outing, the Lantern Tours promise an unforgettable journey into the past.
