Celebrate Summer at Strawberry Festival, May 30 & 31 and June 6 & June 7 Kick off Summer with Strawberry season on the farm. Join us on Saturday and Sunday, June 6 & June 7 from 10 a.m. – 5 p.m. - a weekend party to celebrate these plump and juicy berries. Treat your family to a berry fun day! Spring Winery Weekend Music Series @Terhune's
Join family and friends for our winery weekend music series this Spring. It is the perfect way to relax, connect, and toast the new season. Enjoy a glass of one of our award-winning wines, sit back, and listen to live music from local artists each week. Styles range from Jazz and Blues to Folk and Rock. The music is from 1 pm-4 pm. Light fare is available. Bring the entire family to enjoy fresh air on the farm, stop in the farm store for fresh produce, baked goods, and local gourmet items, and stroll on the farm. Barn Door Cafe is open on weekends for lunch fare, homemade treats, and ice cream. Winery hours 12 pm-5 pm. No outside food or pets, please. In advance of Jazz in June, the library and McCarter Theatre Center present "Celebrating Ernest Ranglin & The Jamaican Jazz Songbook," a tribute concert performed by the Marel Hidalgo Quintet. Teenage guitar and banjo virtuoso Marel Hidalgo explores the music of Jamaica through the legacy of one of its most influential pioneers, guitarist and composer Ernest Ranglin. This fresh take on calypso, mento, ska, rocksteady, reggae and dub will be blended with jazz and swing inflections in a unique musical journey by one of the most innovative young artists in the jazz scene today.
