The Municipality of Princeton announces the launch of Vision Zero Princeton, an initiative committed to eliminating traffic fatalities and serious injuries by making streets safer for everyone— whether walking, biking, rolling, riding transit, or driving. Explore the full initiative to review local crash data, watch the announcement video, and get involved— drivers are invited to take the Vision Zero Motorist Pledge to receive a Vision Zero magnet.

Families with children ages pre-K to 5th grade can enroll them in Vacation Bible School/Compassion Camp at Princeton United Methodist Church (PrincetonUMC), set for July 27, 28, and 29, from 5 to 7:30 p.m. After supper, children will enjoy songs, stories, crafts and games as they learn what it means to have compassion for ourselves, others, and the world. “When we bring compassion into our relationships and into the world, we partner with God in bring God's love and justice into the world,” says Brooke Foster, director of youth ministry.

Evening Yoga in the Gardens with Gratitude Yoga
Wednesday evenings: July 9, 16, 30; August 6, 13, 27; and September 3 | 6:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. Take your practice outside with Gratitude Yoga. The Inaugural Season of the Princeton Youth Soccer Leaguebegins this fall! Founded by Princeton parents, PYSL is a new recreational soccer league for grades K-5 with a focus on having fun, skill development, and promoting sportsmanship, character, and community.
The 2025 season will take place on Saturdays from 9/13 through 11/15 (no games 11/8). Each Saturday will have a 60-90 minute session with practice time followed by a game. Kiosk Design Competition
Kiosk Design Competition AIA Registered architects and New Jersey students are encouraged to register for and participate in a competition to design the new Princeton kiosk. We are seeking a design which could be selected as a replacement of Princeton’s beloved kiosk at the corner of Nassau Street and Vandeventer Avenue. This competition is sponsored and administered by the AIA New Jersey - The New Jersey Society of Architects. Entrants must register to enter the competition and registration is now open until July 16, 2025. Design submission deadline is July 18, 2025, 11:59 PM EST.

Community Park Pool Reminder
Community Park Pool is now open daily through Labor Day (September 1). Public swim hours are 12-8 p.m. on weekdays and 11 a.m. – 8 p.m. on weekends. Princeton residents must have either a pool membership or Daily Admission Card (DAC) to visit the pool. Registration remains open for all Community Park Pool membership options (Princeton resident and non-resident). Princeton residents that do not wish to purchase a membership but want to visit the pool and pay the daily rate must register annually for a Daily Admission Card (DAC) before coming to the pool. 106th Annual Mercer County 4-H Fair July 26 & 27 - Mercer County 4-H invite residents to showcase their creative talents and skills at the 106th Annual Mercer County 4-H Fair! The Fair is an inspirational community event, celebrating agriculture, innovation, and the talent of Mercer County residents. The fair will run from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m., Saturday, July 26, and from 10 AM to 4 PM, Sunday, July 27. Admission and parking are free to all attendees. There are many 'Open Division' categories, open to public entries from both youth and adults. Across both days of The Fair, visitors can enjoy animal shows, live music, farm tours, exhibits, children's activities, hayrides, magic shows, and pony rides. Plenty of food and drink, including homemade ice cream, will be available for purchase. The opening ceremony for the fair will be held at 1 PM on Saturday, July 26 in the Show Tent. A country dance with a string band and a caller is scheduled for 6 PM on Sunday, July 27. 7/3 – First Fridays Farm Fun @Cherry Grove Farm, 3-7pm., Every first friday of the month stop by Cherry Grove Farm for lots of fun for kids and grown-ups. We have free hayrides and yoga, artists and crafters, vendors and music and often special demonstrations, activities for kids or a wild plant walk. Let the kids run around, visit the calves and goats and singalong with Pete while you do your weekend shopping, relax with some yoga or sit and watch the cows grazing in the meadows. You may even get to see the cows being milked.

7/4 - Fourth of July Festival @Morven & Battlefield State Park
Join us for our annual Fourth of July Festival! This is a free public event featuring activities at Morven Museum & Garden and the Princeton Battlefield State Park. Stop by Morven any time between 12:00 p.m. and 3:00 p.m. for activities and artmaking with community partners; garden tours; face painting; music from the Vintage Vibe Tribe; food trucks; a chance to sign the Declaration of Independence; and more. The museum will be open with half-price admission. A short distance away, check out the Princeton Battlefield State Park where you can visit the historic Clarke House and hear a reading of the Declaration of Independence by Will Krakower, Resource Interpretive Specialist with the NJDEP, at 1:00 p.m. and 3:30 p.m. The Clarke House is open free of charge.

7/5 - The Flemington Car Show, 5:30-8:30pm., The Flemington Car Shows run on Saturdays (check schedule for dates and locations) all Summer long offering the community a source of fun free family entertainment. Each show, hundreds of some of the best classic cars on the East Coast come out to Flemington. The shows are free to the public, and car owners.
