Discovery Tours on the Farm– July & August – Terhune’s
Educational programs offered at Terhune Orchards give children of all ages the opportunity to experience life on a farm – up close and personal – lead by our knowledgeable Guides. In July and August, enjoy our Summer Discovery Tours on the farm. The program investigates nature, discusses the compatibility between wildlife habitats and agriculture and recycling. Children identify spittle bugs, praying mantis, and the three different ways poison ivy grows. Visit the farm animals and enjoy a snack of cider and apples. The 1.5 hour program includes a snack and a craft activity. Pre-registration and a minimum of 10 children are required. 6/6 - First Fridays Farm Fun @Cherry Grove Farm, 3-7pm.
Every first friday of the month stop by Cherry Grove Farm for lots of fun for kids and grown-ups. We have free hayrides and yoga, artists and crafters, vendors and music and often special demonstrations, activities for kids or a wild plant walk. Let the kids run around, visit the calves and goats and singalong with Pete while you do your weekend shopping, relax with some yoga or sit and watch the cows grazing in the meadows. You may even get to see the cows being milked.

6/7 - Greater Princeton Youth Orchestra Anniversary Concert, 3pm., The Greater Princeton Youth Orchestra (GPYO) proudly presents its 65th Anniversary Concert at Richardson Auditorium, Princeton University. 6/13 - Princeton Symphonic Brass Summer Concert, 7:30pm.
The Princeton Symphonic Brass, under the baton of Lawrence Kursar, will hold its annual Summer Concert at the Community Middle School Auditorium, 95 Grovers Mill Road, Plainsboro, New Jersey.
This summer's Eve concert features Americana, jazz, pop, and light classical in a beautiful, spacious, state-of-the-art performance space with ample, free parking. For the first time, we will feature a SPECIAL guest artist - Trumpeter Liesl Whitaker. Liesl Whitaker joined the Army Blues of The U.S. Army Band "Pershing's Own" in 2000, becoming the first woman to win a lead position in a premier U.S. military jazz ensemble. She repeated this feat with the Jazz Ambassadors of The U.S. Army Field Band in 2012. We will feature her as a soloist on several brand-new arrangements crafted for her and the Princeton Symphonic Brass.

The Kalmia Club's annual Hidden Gardens of Lambertville Tour is a self-guided walking tour that explores the private gardens of our charming community. 6/14 - Artist Demonstration: Roberto Lugo @Art@Bainbridge, 12pm.
The Princeton University Art Museum welcomes artist, ceramist, social activist, poet, and educator Roberto Lugo to Art@Bainbridge for a hands-on making event where Lugo will lead a wheel-throwing demonstration. Learn how to decorate a pre-thrown vessel with visual motifs that combine classic patterns and elements of hip-hop and streetwear.
Lugo’s work will be on view in the exhibition Roberto Lugo / Orange and Black until Sunday, July 6 at Art@Bainbridge. The exhibition features vases that draw on the shapes, techniques, and decorative motifs of ancient Greek vessels to tell personal and communal stories of contemporary social and political oppression.

Celebrate the longest day of the year by joining the 11th Annual Solstice Trail Run—Run for Clean Water—on Wednesday, June 18, 2025, at The Watershed Institute in Pennington, NJ. 6/20 - Stretto Youth Chamber Orchestra Outdoor Juneteenth Concert, 4-5pm. Join the full ensemble of Stretto Youth Chamber Orchestra for an outdoor Juneteenth concert. 6/21 - SSAAM'S Juneteenth Celebration 2025, 12-4pm., The Stoutsburg Sourland African American Museum (SSAAM), Central New Jersey's only museum sharing the history of African Americans in our region since the trans-Atlantic Slave trade, will hold its fourth annual Juneteenth celebration on Saturday, June 21, from 12 PM to 4 PM (rain or shine).
Live music, spoken word and theatrical performances, drum circle, local artisans, storytelling workshops and museum activities for all ages, and delicious cuisine. Join the Stoutsburg Sourland African American Museum for a day steeped in history and community connection. 6/22 - Ciclovia Princeton, 10-2pm.“Ciclovía” is a Spanish term that means cycleway, or a temporary closing of streets to automobiles for cyclists and pedestrians. Ciclovia Princeton will temporarily “reclaim” a few roads within town — Walnut Ln from Hamilton Ave to Guyot Ave — maximizing this public space with engaging, all-ages activities that bring people together to socialize, get creative, and move freely. Walk, run, bike, skate, roll, push strollers, dance, and enjoy the road at your own pace. However you move, or whether you simply pull out a lawn chair to take it all in, participate in whatever way feels good for you, car-free and care-free. Ciclovia Princeton is presented by Sustainable Princeton and the Arts Council of Princeton, with support from the Municipality of Princeton.

6/22 – Beppe Gambetta in Concert, Frenchtown Bookstore, 7pm., The Sunday Music Club welcomes charming Italian-born, Americana-loving guitar virtuso and singer Beppe Gambetta. Growing up in Genoa, Italy, Beppe Gambetta fell in love with American Roots music and taught himself to play guitar by listening to the great players of Kentucky bluegrass including Doc Watson and Tony Rice. Since the 1990's, he has crossed the globe, performing his traditional and original songs, which combine Appalachian roots, Italian influences, and "effervescent passion" (Bluegrass Unlimited). 6/26 - Art of Hip Hop, Arts Council of Princeton, 6-8pm
When addressing the beloved genre and culture that was birthed from African-American oppression, it must be noted that it was founded on these 5 pillars that must be upheld and maintained: DJing, B-boying/Breaking, Graffiti, MCing/Writing, and the Knowledge. Join us for an evening to discuss and demonstrate the ART OF Hip Hop with focus on MCing and the Knowledge. For your presenter, we bring to you Slim da Wit, an artist from Brick City (a.k.a; Newark, NJ), to take us through the process leading up to the artistic expression before it hits radios and streaming services.
We ask that you come with a curious mind and maybe a pen as Slim helps you to understand the Hip to the Hop, and to see if you have some bars in you wanting to be expressed, either on paper or to the audience. This event is being offered in collaboration with Awujo Consulting. Save your space.
