Rethinking Underage Drinking Art Contest for Mercer County High School Students - Deadline May 12th

Stamp Out Hunger is the nation’s largest single-day food drive, with US Postal letter carriers in 10,000 cities and towns collecting bags of non-perishable food donations, as they deliver mail along their postal routes. Just fill up the bag that your mail carrier will leave in your mail box, with non-perishable foods, leave it by your mailbox on Saturday, May 13, and your letter carrier will deliver the food directly to Mercer Street Friends Food Bank. Suggested donations: canned tuna, chicken and salmon; canned fruits and vegetables; canned pasta meals; canned or dry beans; peanut butter and jelly; soups; cereal (non sugary preferred), pasta and tomato sauce. No glass please.
Spring Issue of MCCC’s Kelsey Review Is Now Available Online; Submission Deadline for 2017 Journal Is May 31 - Kelsey Review, Mercer County Community College’s (MCCC’s) literary journal that went to a fully online quarterly format this past fall, has just posted its Spring 2017 issue. The latest issue features art, poetry, and prose from contributors who live or work in Mercer County. Submissions for next year will be accepted through May 31 in the following categories: fiction, non-fiction, poetry, art, photography and reviews. Princeton Girlchoir Now Scheduling Auditions for 2017-2018 Season - Auditions for new choristers are scheduled throughout June at Princeton Day School, however, PGC will work with families who are unable to attend auditions on that date, to find an alternative. Interested choristers may also wish to attend Princeton Girlchoir’s Spring Concert Series on Friday, May 5, 7:00pm at Nassau Presbyterian Church in Princeton and on Saturday, May 6, 7:00pm at Princeton University Chapel, to hear the beautiful music showcased by all six ensembles of the Princeton Girlchoir. HomeFront's ArtJam Opens May 19 - HomeFront’s ArtJam, a fun and funky pop-up art gallery, will open Friday, May 19 at 19 Hulfish Street, Princeton and run for three weeks. It will feature a rotating collection of art for sale and meet-and-greets with the artists.
