Seniors and people with disabilities are warmly welcomed to a free, in?person 90?minute emergency preparedness training at the Lawrence Headquarters Branch of the Mercer County Library System on Friday, February 20 at 2:00 pm. The training is provided by the Progressive Center for Independent Living, supported by a grant through the NJ Department of Human Services. Trainers Gerald "Jerry" Carbone, Renee Pfaff, and Bill Donohue will guide participants in building a personalized "Go Kit," creating communication and evacuation plans, identifying community resources, and increasing confidence in navigating unexpected situations.
