Saving the Coral Reefs

Learn about the Coral Reefs from the Aquarium Divers for Coral Society (ADFC), which works with other foundations to help stabilize the ocean by getting ahead of coral decline. Michael Anderson, ADFC's Founder, and certified coral restoration diver for 7 ½ years, will share an overview of coral and coral reefs. This will include the vital role they play in protecting coastal areas, and the ocean's ecosystem, as well as ADFC's mission and how people can get involved. Monet: A Life Extraordinaire!
Monday, April 7, 7:00 pm Oscar-Claude Monet was a leading figure in the Impressionist movement that revolutionized French painting in the second half of the 19th century. His life, passions, background, personality, and relationships are incredibly interesting, and knowing these aspects of his life make appreciation of his works even more meaningful. Was he a rich artist, did he have friends, what was his personality, who did he inspire, who inspired him? All of these questions are answered by Monet in his paintings.
