In 2021, 800 acres of this historic land were donated to D&R Greenway, marking one of the largest private land gifts in New Jersey's history.

Tickets are $150 per person and available now at www.drgreenway.org or by calling 609-924-4646. Sponsorships are also available. Proceeds from the event support D&R Greenway's mission to preserve and care for land and to create public trails where people can connect with nature and one another.

"This is the perfect season to enjoy far-reaching views from Hillside Farm! D&R Greenway is honored to be chosen as the caretaker of this special land, assembled by philanthropist Betty Wold Johnson over forty years. This sneak peek will inspire hope and optimism as we gather on the land surrounded by the sounds of music," said Linda Mead, President & CEO, D&R Greenway Land Trust.

Guests will enjoy an uplifting afternoon featuring local musicians and representatives from the Lenape Nation:

Glenn McClelland, celebrated pianist of Blood, Sweat & Tears and Ween, performing in the farmhouse parlor.

WOMENROCK, a high-energy ensemble of female vocalists and Princeton-area musicians who trace the history of women rock pioneers.

Chief Bluejay and Friends, storytellers from the Lenape Nation sharing 13,000 years of Native and stewardship across the Hopewell Valley.

Attendees can admire the fall foliage while experiencing views toward Hopewell and the Sourlands,
sample, local fare, learn about Lenape traditions and dance to the music,

"This event gives our supporters a rare first look at the future Betty Wold Johnson Hillside Park," said Eric Derby, Director of Development and Planned Giving at D&R Greenway Land Trust. "It's a chance to stand on land that will soon welcome thousands of visitors, and to be among those making that future possible."
