Bluebirds are everywhere ! and its time to clean out your houses and get ready for another season of birding. Now is the time male bluebirds scout for new homes, woodpeckers old holes or go back to last year abode. Upon arrival to a new home they will inspect the top, bottom, inside and out. A song may even be in order, as if its an audition for the girls. Typically timing is mid-February and they are on-time here in zone 7. I am seeing them along streets, parks and thankfully, on top of my houses installed last year.
SO, this is an ALERT to all, if interested, set up your homes now.
