Princeton Pro Musica, American Prize Award winner for choral performance, will present its next concert on Sunday, December 11, at 4:00 p.m. in Richardson Auditorium on the campus of Princeton University. Favorite movements of Handel’s Messiah, the Christmas music of J. S. Bach, and selections from Margaret Bonds’ Ballad of the Brown King and her Go Tell it on the Mountain, embedded in a medley of your favorite classic carols and holiday songs in our Artistic Director’s sumptuous, sparkling choral-orchestral arrangements. Truly a feast for the ears, this holiday concert will fill you with the warmth and joy of the season.
High lyric soprano Heather Phillips, whose performances have been described by Opera News as “beautiful” and “shimmering”, is continuing to garner critical acclaim with reputable performances on the opera and concert stage. Bass-Baritone Joseph Parrish, a native of Baltimore, Maryland, has sung with the Asheville Lyric Opera the Cincinnati Opera. Voce Di Meche recently described his voice as having “deeply resonant tone is never booming but rather subtly colored.” They are both making their Princeton Pro Musica debut.
