Morven Museum & Garden presents "In Time," an interactive mystery theatre experience with Live History USA. Visitors travel through the historic mansion solving a mystery with help from characters from Morven's past.

Step into history and movement under the open sky as Roxey Ballet proudly presents NJ Ballad—a performance celebrating art, heritage, and community.?This year’s performance features the world premiere of The New Jersey Ballad, a powerful new work choreographed to original music by Richard Jarboe and Robert Sands. Inspired by New Jersey’s rich Revolutionary War history, the piece Roxey Ballet's NJ Ballad Performance is a re-creation of George Washington Crossing the Delaware Previously seen at High Bridge Grounds for Arts brings to life the iconic moment of George Washington crossing the Delaware, as depicted in the famous painting. Dancers of Roxey Ballet will animate this legendary scene in a stirring open-air performance that honors the spirit of resilience, unity, and American identity.

Join us on a hike through the treasured Institute Woods to explore bits of history, as well as the sites and sounds that form this unique and serene setting. Hear stories about the Woods’ origin and the ways IAS mathematicians, physicists, and other members have engaged with it. Stops along the way will highlight the history of early Stony Brook, the Battle of Princeton, the Old Trolley trail, the establishment of the Institute for Advanced Study, and Founders Rock. We will make a special stop at the infamous Swinging Bridge, then hike over to the observation decks at the adjacent Rogers Wildlife Refuge. Along the way, there will be moments to observe, engage, and identify the different varieties of birds, plants, trees, and everything in between!
