From Dream to Dialogue: The Power of Faith in Action — Embodying MLK's Legacy
Join the West Windsor Human Relations Council for the 2026 MLK Day of Service and Learning, a community gathering honoring Dr. Martin Luther King Jr.'s moral vision through dialogue, reflection, music, and service. This year's program explores how faith, justice, and civic responsibility intersect in our diverse community. Guest speakers include Reverend Bob Moore, Executive Director of the Coalition for Peace Action, who will reflect on the role of faith in his lifelong work for peace and social justice, and Christian E. Fisher, Assistant Mercer County Prosecutor, who will discuss the 14th Amendment and birthright citizenship. The program will also feature musical performances by West Windsor Patrol Officer Alison Pollini and a closing sing-along with Wade Alan, along with video reflections from Dr. King's own words. Community members are invited to participate in a Q&A and open dialogue, sharing their dreams for change and answering the question: How do you want to serve your community—and how can the community support you?
