Jewish Community Youth Foundation of Princeton Visits Gershman Y in Philadelphia

The Jewish Community Youth Foundation of Princeton New Jersey, a Jewish teen philanthropy program administered by Jewish Family & Children’s Service of Greater Mercer County and funded by the Ricky and Andrew J. Shechtel Philanthropic Fund, and the Jewish Federation of Princeton Mercer Bucks sent its 11th grade participants and advisors to the Gershman Y in Philadelphia.  The participants met with representatives from organizations focusing on outreach and advocacy, including the American Israel Education Foundation, Facing History and Ourselves, The Israel Project, Jewish Council for Public Affairs, the Kupferberg Holocaust Resource Center & Archives, and Israel on Campus Coalition.  The teens will allocate a pooled contribution of $14,400 among the programs.  The teens also visited the National Museum of American Jewish History.  For more information about the Jewish Community Youth Foundation, contact Celeste Albert at 609-987-8100 or celestea@jfcsonline.org.
