PRINCETON, NJ - Pinot to Picasso ~Vintage 2012, the Arts Council of Princeton’s seventh annual spring art and wine fundraiser, was held on Friday, April 27th from 6:30-10:30 pm at the Technology Center of Princeton.
Through the efforts of a hardworking and talented event committee close to $90,000 was raised for the Arts Council’s Anne Reeves Fund, which supports Community Arts initiatives and the Artist-in-Residence Program. Beyond funds raised, this event provided a fun and festive platform for participating artists to network with collectors.
Over 550 guests attended the lively festivities, which included “The Best Tastes of Princeton,” a tasting of gourmet foods and fine wines. Participating venders included: the bent spoon, Chambers Walk Café & Catering, CoolVines, Dish Catering, Mediterra, and Provence Catering.
Ashling O’Brien of Viburnum Designs along with Julia Gilbert of JBG Home, Staging + Design creatively transformed raw office space provided by BPG Properties, into a magical woodland garden complete with dogwood, moss, fairy lights and a cabana lounge.
It was an evening buzzing with activity from an interactive wordsmith photo show created by artist, Andrew Wilkinson, and dancing to the selections of DJ Sully. Of course, the highlight of the evening was the ever popular Tombola, a fast paced and exhilarating drawing of 100 artworks donated by invited artists.
