PPPL’s Science On Saturday Lecture Series
The Ronald E. Hatcher Science On Saturday Lecture Series returns to the U.S. Department of Energy’s (DOE) Princeton Plasma Physics Laboratory (PPPL) this year to offer lectures to science fans of all ages. Talks run from 9:30-11 a.m., which includes a presentation and Q&A. The talks are held online and in person at the Melvin B. Gottlieb Auditorium in PPPL’s Lyman Spitzer Building, located at 100 Stellarator Road in Princeton, New Jersey. Register here for the Zoom link for all the talks. Feb. 8: “Quantum-level Spectral Analysis and Deep Learning for Life Science and Biomedical Research,” Corey Toler-Franklin, Columbia University This talk will present projects at the Graphics Imaging & Light Measurement Lab (GILMLab) that combine optical imaging, physics and artificial intelligence (AI) for real-world application in life science and biomedical research.
