Walking with Wisdom and Anxiety: Navigating the Challenges and Opportunities of the Current World

Dr. Rachel Paster is a Clinical Psychologist at Center for Anxiety where she is the Director of Clinical Training and Interim Director of the Boston Office (though she is based in New Jersey). Dr. Paster holds Masters degrees in Risk and Prevention and Adjustment Counseling from Harvard's Graduate School of Education as well as a Doctorate in Psychology from William James College with a certificate in Latino Mental Health. She completed her APA-accredited internship at Wediko Children's Service in Boston, Massachusetts. Dr. Paster is trained in a variety of treatment modalities including CBT, ACT, DBT, and EMDR and works with people presenting with depression, anxiety, trauma, grief, and life transitions. She also has a focus on working with couples and folks in the LGTBQ+ community. Dr. Paster enjoys spending time with her family, baking, and eating good food.

Join Boys & Girls Clubs of Mercer County at 6:00 pm at Cobblestone Creek Country Club, 2170 Lawrenceville Rd, Lawrenceville, NJ, for A Sip & Savor Experience & fundraiser.

Sip & Savor samplings from a curated group of local restaurants and craft beverage purveyors while connecting with community and corporate leaders who believe in expanding opportunities for local youth. The evening's most powerful moment comes as Club teens take the stage to compete for 2026 Youth of the Year. Guests will have the unique opportunity to vote live and help select the winner—recognizing a young leader whose story brings the Club's impact to life. Early bird individual tickets are $200, with proceeds supporting high-quality afterschool programs, summer learning, workforce readiness, and mentorship opportunities.
