Mercer County Executive Dan Benson shares plans to create a welcoming and connected streetscape in the South Broad Street area that brings people together, supports local businesses, and capitalizes on civic and cultural spaces. His revitalization plans also improve the pedestrian and cycling experience. Planned stops on the 2.1-mile walk include the Eagle Tavern, Clinton & Roebling Lofts, Millyard Park and Casa Cultura.

Enjoy a walk around downtown Princeton and the University campus as you learn about historic sites in the area, including Nassau Hall, University Chapel and Palmer Square. Hear some of the classic history and lesser-known stories of Princeton’s diverse past. Tickets are $20. Advance purchase is required; use the form below. Tour starts in the courtyard of the Princeton Battle Monument (GPS address: 1 Monument Drive).

Come to the Open House to find out about available volunteer roles for the fair, and how you can be a part of this amazing community event. Our family-friendly dance features square dances, contra dances, play party games, other traditional American dances, and sometimes folk dances from around the world. It's great fun for the whole family, from young children (ages 4 and up) to parents and grandparents and other adult friends. No partner or experience is needed. The dances will be led by our local callers; live music will be provided by the Mixed Age Dance Band. Musicians of all ages and abilities are welcome to join the MAD Band - there is a rehearsal immediately before each family dance from 2:15 - 3:00 pm.
Admission: $10 per person, or $25 per family of 3 or more. For those with limited income: $5-$10 per person and $15-$25 per family

Princeton Makes, a Princeton-based artist cooperative, and Ragged Sky Press, a local publisher focused on poetry, will host a Second Sunday Poetry Reading on Sunday, February 8 at 4:00 pm. The readings will take place at the new Princeton Makes store in the Princeton Shopping Center. The new store is located between Princeton Nassau Pediatrics and Rita’s. The February reading will feature poetry by Caroline Johnson and Amy Rosi. Their readings will be followed by an open mic available to up to 10 audience members who would like to read their original poetry.
