Our artist winter village makes local shopping easier and more creative than ever! These festive pop-up shops, run by talented regional creatives, offer fun and unique gifts in cozy textiles, jewelry, hand-poured candles, charming children’s wear, pottery, wood, and so much more. Shop directly from makers working to bring us small business-driven joy!
Hours: From November 13 through December 21, four Chalets will be open for business Thursday through Sunday, 12-6pm. In addition to the Chalets, ten additional artists will join the village on Saturdays and Sundays from 10am-4pm. Vendors change each week!

Along the way, Alex will share the secrets of artisanal chocolate making and how fair trade practices help support Peruvian farmers and sustainable cacao production.

"A Healthy Watershed Takes a Village... and Everyone Up and Downstream of the Village," will take place on November 13, 2025, at 7:00 PM at The Watershed Institute. The presentation will be led by Dr. Steven Tuorto, Director of Science and Stewardship at The Watershed Institute. Dr. Tuorto will share how land use directly impacts water quality and how regional collaboration is essential to addressing major environmental challenges such as flooding and harmful algal blooms.
Attendees will gain insight into the science behind watershed health, learn about ongoing restoration projects, and discover how local action contributes to regional impact. The event will be hybrid, with both in-person and virtual attendance options. Admission is free, but registration is required. The Sourland Conservancy gratefully accepts donations to support its work.
