Shop the Friends of the Lawrence Library September Book Sale for thousands of used, gently-read books for readers of all ages. The sale opens to the general public on Friday, September 19, at 10:00 am and ends Monday, September 22 at 2:00 pm at the Lawrence Headquarters Branch of the Mercer County Library System, 2751 Brunswick Pike, Lawrenceville, New Jersey. Payment by cash, check or Zelle only.
Beginning Friday, September 19 at 10:00 am, entry to the sale is free and open to the general public. No scanning devices will be allowed. The book sale will be open Friday and Saturday (10:00 am – 4:30 pm), Sunday (12:30 pm - 4:30 pm) and Monday (10:00 am – 2:00 pm). Sunday and Monday will be $5 a bag. Bring your own bag.

Led by beloved librarian and early literacy specialist Pamela Groves (Miss Pam) and designed for babies, toddlers, and their caregivers, these engaging sessions introduce children to the joys of language, music, and movement in a warm, playful environment. Each class features Miss Pam’s signature style of interactive storyplay, weaving together books, songs, rhymes, fingerplays, and movement to spark early literacy and numeracy skills. With a tri-lingual blend of English, Spanish, and American Sign Language (ASL), the program fosters inclusivity and connection across cultures.

Shake off the stress of your work week and give pottery a whirl! You bring your favorite brew, wine, or bubbly, and we take care of the rest. Sela Stazzone, ACP artist-instructor and owner of Jean Ceramics, will introduce you to the basics of throwing a bowl on the potter’s wheel. You’ll throw, choose your glaze, and pick up your two completed pieces in a week or two.
