Part game, part history lesson, and an all-around fantastic show of sportsmanship comes to Greenway Meadows Park this month for the Historical Society of Princeton’s Annual Vintage Base Ball Game. Families and guests are welcome to watch an inning or stay for the entire game, where the Flemington Neshanock will take on the New Brunswick Liberty in a competitive match of bare-handed ‘base ball,’ wearing period uniforms and using 1864 rules. Players from across the tri-state area will entertain and answer questions about the rich history of America’s favorite pastime. After the game, families and individuals of all ages are invited to take batting practice using authentic 19th-century equipment replicas! The event is free and open to the public, with no pre-registration required.
Location: Greenway Meadows Park 275 Rosedale Road Princeton, NJ 08540

Andrew Lippa's musical theatre oratorio is an emotional celebration of an American icon. It weaves the story of Harvey Milk’s life – from boyhood to his rise as the first openly gay man to hold public office in California to his assassination. It's part choral work and part theater piece, directed by Noah Himmelstein.
