Benefits of Massage Therapy - Virtual - MCLS

In addition to providing relaxation from daily stress, massage has many benefits beyond the spa. Learn how massage is applied to treat neuromuscular dysfunction; support the immune system; allay anxiety and soothe mood disorders; and other applications. This brief presentation will explain how massage therapy is appropriate for many conditions; how to prepare and what to expect from a massage therapist; and how to maximize the benefits of massage therapy. Presented by Cynthia Sinicropi-Philibosian, LMBT practicing since 1982. This program is part of Penn Medicine Princeton Health's Community Wellness Program.

Winter Seed Sowing Workshop, Sourland Conservancy

Come learn about growing native plants! Participants will receive a hands-on demonstration and take home native seeds to grow beautiful plants at home. All materials are included in the registration cost. Participants will gain knowledge on cold stratification, habitat requirements of these native plants and the animals that these plants support. Led by Rachel Mackow, co-owner of Wild Ridge Plants, Carolyn Klaube, Stewardship Director of the Sourland Conservancy, and Laurie Cleveland, Executive Director of the Sourland Conservancy.
