PRESIDENT'S MESSAGE:

Dear Sisters:

WOMEN'S HISTORY MONTH

During this month, special attention is given to issues that affect women.  Much focus is placed on our health and especially on heart disease, which we all should know by now, is the number one killer of women.  Remind your female family and friends to pay special attention to their health and get regular check-ups.

We are looking forward to our regular monthly meeting on 3/11 when our guest will be Ms. Gail Mitchell, an educator at the West Windsor/Plainsboro High School.  She will be displaying some of her beautiful quilts and have a time for poetry reading.  You don't have to be a quilter to enjoy this beautiful presentation.

We must plan for our Fall fund-raiser so we can have the necessary funds for scholarships to women returning to college and Hightstown High students.

The best to you.

Joyce

TIPS for March, 2008

If you peel a banana from the bottom, you won't have to pick the little "stringy things" off it.  That's how all the primates do it.

Separate your bananas when you get home from the store.  If you leave them connected at the stem, they ripen much faster..

PLEASE KEEP THE FOLLOWING INDIVIDUALS
 IN YOUR THOUGHTS AND PRAYERS:

Our continued best wishes are sent to  the following:  Louise's uncle; Kevin; Illean's brother, Bill and  Lorna's mother.

It is our intention to remember all who are ill, lost a loved one, and congratulate members and their families when achievements are made. However, you must let Lois know so mention can be made in the Newsletter.
