Princeton Porchfest, ACP

The fifth annual Princeton Porchfest will be held Saturday, April 25 from 12-6pm. Starting at noon, multiple porches around town – generously lent by neighbors – will host sets of live music throughout the day. Stroll around town to hear live local talent, grab a bite, drink, or coffee from one of Princeton’s amazing small businesses, and enjoy a day of free community fun.

2026 Volunteer Open House, Tabby's Place: A Cat Sanctuary

All are welcome to come visit our sanctuary in Ringoes, NJ to learn more about the continuing mission of Tabby’s Place. Our dedicated volunteer team will tell you all about the work they do to care for our cats and how you can get involved, too. Follow the trail of paw prints through the building to see our cat suites, solariums, and other spaces. Our tour guides will introduce you to some of our feline residents and tell you more about each of the cats we get to call ours. Refreshments will also be available (for humans and cats).

America Laments Her Loss: George Washington Memorial Needlework

America’s first national tragedy, the death of George Washington, was memorialized in many decorative arts. Among these were the samplers and other needleworks made primarily by young girls as part of their educational process. Dan Scheid, a prominent local needlework collector, will show numerous examples of these works from the early through mid-19th century that honor our first president and reflect the nation’s sense of loss. $10 per person, includes museum admission.

History/Nature Hike at Institute Woods, Historical Society of Princeton

Princeton Battlefield parking lot, 500 Mercer Street, Princeton

Join us on a hike through the treasured Institute Woods to explore bits of history, as well as the sites and sounds that form this unique and serene setting. Hear stories about the Woods’ origin and the ways IAS mathematicians, physicists, and other members have engaged with it. Stops along the way will highlight the history of early Stony Brook, the Battle of Princeton, the Old Trolley trail, the establishment of the Institute for Advanced Study, and Founders Rock. We will make a special stop at the infamous Swinging Bridge, then hike over to the observation decks at the adjacent Rogers Wildlife Refuge. Along the way, there will be moments to observe, engage, and identify the different varieties of birds, plants, trees, and everything in between!

Bollywood Dance Night, WWAC

Join us in the gallery for an evening of high-energy Bollywood favorites, vibrant lighting, and joyful connection on the dance floor. Enjoy complimentary snacks, including samosas, cookies, and refreshments. Keep the party going by requesting your favorite songs with a cash donation. All proceeds from this board-led fundraiser support our mission to bring accessible arts programming to the community. Hosted by board members Shivani Badgi and Mili Chowfla, this special evening reflects the spirit of community that drives West Windsor Arts. Shivani, a professional dancer and arts educator, and Mili, a nonprofit finance leader, bring together their shared passion for culture, connection, and creativity to make this celebration possible.
